    SYRACUSE, N.Y. - You may have woken up to the sound of thunder, hail, or wind Saturday night. A line of thunderstorms moved through CNY along a cold front. A couple Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued for 60mph wind gusts and 1 inch hail. However, these thunderstorms exited to the southeast after sunrise.

    SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Looking back at February in CNY, it was unusually warm and there was a significant lack of snow until the very last day. However, our season snowfall total so far in Syracuse is still lacking. We set records in February and could set more for this winter and season overall!FEBRUARY DAILY SNOWFALL IN SYRACUSESnow fell on only 10 of the 29 days in February 2024, plus there wasn't much snowfall accumulation. Most days was only 1 to 2 inches, but the last day we had 10 inches of snow.
