The Omaha Police Department said Edward Henry died of a heart attack after he was arrested. KETV Investigates obtained a witness video of the arrest for burglary and other charges, which was also captured on body-worn camera footage, Omaha police said. Omaha police said the 54-year-old did receive a medical assessment once he got to the jail. Henry was found dead in his holding cell just eight hours later.

The Nebraska Supreme Court reversed the Court of Appeals and put Jeremiah Thornton's case back to district court. He is charged with first-degree sexual assault. Back in December 2023, prosecutors say Thornton, then 15, texted a female student to meet in an area of the school, then forced her down and forced her clothing off.Another 15-year-old student stood as lookout to make sure no one could come in, according to prosecutors.The victim immediately reported the incident to school officials.
