DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Springfield Police are investigating after a person was shot Wednesday morning. According to Springfield Police Dispatch, the incident happened around 3:05 a.m. in the area of Elder Street. When police arrived on scene they found a male with a gunshot wound. No suspect information is available at this time. The man’s condition is also unknown. A 2 NEWS photographer at the scene saw a woman handcuffed and placed into a police vehicle.
