A local organization dedicated to rescuing historic properties and recovering old-time items to repurpose and sell is doing business in a relocated salvage store. Preservation Rocky Mount, which since 2003 had a store off Falls Road just southeast of the Rocky Mount Mills commercial and residential development, has shifted that store to 1131 S. Man, 63, charged with fatally shooting 34-year-old son

A father is facing an upgraded charge of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting of his son in the Woodfield residential area in the southeast part of Nashville, town police said in a news release early Thursday afternoon. Judge says paperless system has gone better than expected so far
