FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) - Flint Firebirds goalkeeper Nathan Day made 38 saves in a shutout win over the Kitchener Rangers to help the Firebirds win Game 3 of their seven-game series, 2-0. Kaden Pitre and Matthew Wang scored third period goals for the Firebirds, who will look to tie the series on Thursday at the Dort Financial Center at 7:00 p.m.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WJRT) - Genesee Christian made their first-ever trip to the Breslin Center for the Division 4 state semifinals but lost to an experienced Fowler team, 57-32. The two teams were tied at 11 after the first quarter but Fowler outscored GCS 14-2 in the second quarter. Genesee Christian senior Haven Chapman led all scorers with 18 points while the Eagles had four players score in double-figures. The Lady Ballers finish their season with a program-best 24-3 record.
