SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Friday was Fight Night in Sioux Falls with mixed martial arts and the Legacy Fighting Alliance returning to the Sanford Pentagon. A couple of locals were featured as part of the ten fight LFA 207 card. Cheyanne Bowers, a South Dakota State alum training out of Next Edge Academy in Sioux Falls, fought her second fight at the Pentagon in as many years, taking on Elizabeth Rodriguez.

(Dakota News Now) - Augustana softball’s win streak extended to 14 in a row, taking down Concordia-St. Paul in back-to-back 6-2 and 8-0 wins in doubleheader action on Friday afternoon. The Vikings improve to 39-9 on the year and 21-3 in the NSIC while the Golden Bears drop to 21-26 and 13-9.

BISMARCK, N.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Aberdeen Wings were the last team to qualify for the four-team NAHL Robertson Cup Central Division playoffs, five ponts better than fifth place St. Cloud. Their semifinal opponent, the Bismarck Bobcats, had the best record in the league at 47-10-1-1 (96 points).

(Dakota News Now) - The Augustana baseball team earned a dominant win before marching back from an eight run deficit to earn a walk-off win and complete a four-game sweep over Winona State at Ronken Field on Sunday afternoon. The first game of the day completed a three-game NSIC series and game two was a non-conference affair. The Vikings move to 24-11 overall and 18-7 in the NSIC while Winona State falls to 16-19, 12-13.

(Dakota News Now) - Augustana softball sandwiched its Senior Day celebrations between what would become back-to-back 8-2 and 4-2 victories over Bemidji State in doubleheader action at Bowden Field. The Vikings improve to 37-9 overall and 19-3 in conference action while the Beavers drop to 16-26 and 3-15. Between games one and two, the Vikings celebrated its four softball seniors.
