USD’s perennially been a good softball team & had a couple of chances at a Summit title Difference, as tends to be at this level, is they’ve yet to find a dominant strikeout ace (Kniesche, Meyer, etc) that lifted NDSU, SDSU & UNO to not only SLT wins but chance to win NCAA games

It really was a good group that improved throughout the year. And resilient. Don’t think many expected @SDCoyotesSB to bounce back after the 13 inning SDSU loss much less falling down 5-0 to UND. Seniors like Clara Edwards (who we will feature Monday) will be missed
