Much-needed rainfall in Lincoln on Sunday and Monday may have helped put a dent in stubborn drought conditions, but the city still lags behind normal precipitation for the year. From Sunday evening through Monday, Lincoln saw 2.29 inches of rain, 1.31 of which came Monday when severe storms swept through eastern Nebraska, according to the National Weather Service.
