    The coroner in Henry County has identified a person found dead Friday in a rural area west of the city as a Kewanee man who had been missing for over a week. Catrelle Reed, 39, was found dead on May 30 after a citizen who was helping the Kewanee Police Department, the Henry County Sheriff's Office and Illinois State Police in a search discovered the body. An autopsy conducted by the Henry County Coroner's Office identified the body as Reed and notified his family members.

    The Peoria Police Department is searching for a pair of men who allegedly broke into a home early Sunday morning and injured one of the residents. Police said that at 4:14 a.m., they received a ShotSpotter alert of nine rounds fired in the 300 block of East Corrington Avenue. While officers were investigating, a man approached them saying he was the victim of a home invasion in the 2800 block of North Missouri Avenue.     A three-vehicle accident Friday morning at the intersection of Knoxville and Forrest Hills avenues led to a fuel leak and the closure of roads in the area for a period of time. According to the Peoria Fire Department, they responded to the intersection at 10:31 a.m. in response to an accident in the area. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a pair of passenger vehicles and a semi-truck involved in the crash, with the 100-gallon saddle tank on the semi-truck ruptured.
