Adayus Robertson is facing charges of first-degree murder and evidence tampering, as well as violating probation for two prior open criminal cases. He had his first court appearance Sunday.

Robertson is an active-duty soldier stationed at Fort Wainwright with the 11th Airborne Division.

Anchorage police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday were conducting an investigation in an Eagle River neighborhood where a 40-year-old man was last seen in early March. Numerous patrol cars, as well as the department’s major crime scene van, were parked in the 16700 block of Mercy Drive. The address is near the Eleonora Street residence where Tony Mac Kronos was last seen on March 6, police said at the time.

Screenings of the movie, which premiered Friday, are leading to national reports of disruptive behavior attributed to a social media trend that’s prompted other police responses. A brief TikTok video showing Wasilla Police Department officers at The Valley Cinema screening last Friday had 4.4 million views as of Tuesday morning.

PALMER — A longtime Palmer pilot and self-described “sovereign citizen” accused of nearly causing a midair collision in 2023 has been sentenced to three years of probation and a $10,000 fine. William Marsan, 57, was arrested and jailed last July on federal charges of operating a plane without a license, operating an unregistered aircraft, and operating a plane displaying a false registration mark.
