Then the first quarter will go THUD, so everybody can get reps,” Franklin said.

    Missouri guard Marcus Allen has committed to Miami out of the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. Allen entered the portal following his first season with the Tigers. The 6-foot-7 freshman showed some real promise in his first year, though he was not a full-time starter. Allen appeared in 26 games and did not start any of them. During that time, he averaged 2.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. He also contributed 0.5 assists and 0.3 steals per game. He did that on 9.2 minutes per contest.

    STATE COLLEGE — Penn State continued its march toward the Blue-White game on Wednesday night as the team held its 13th of 15th spring practices here on the outdoor fields between the Lasch Building and Holuba Hall. It was a picture-perfect sunny April evening for the penultimate set of drills at this location before the program moves over to Beaver Stadium on Saturday. Head coach James Franklin’s team worked mostly on fundamental work during the portion of practice open to reporters.
