CFTO-DT works alongside CKVR-DT, a CTV Two station located in Barrie, and is also connected to the 24-hour news channel CP24. The station's studios are situated at 9 Channel Nine Court in Agincourt, which is close to the intersection of Highway 401 and McCowan Road in Scarborough. Its transmission facilities are located at the top of the iconic CN Tower in downtown Toronto.

A single-vehicle crash on the Queen Elizabeth Way in Oakville has left a nine-year-old child dead, Ontario Provincial Police say.
