When it comes to Kyle Tucker, the biggest reason why the Chicago Cubs should be putting every effort into signing him to a long-term contract during the season is because if he hits free agency, the outcome that is most likely is one that fans have become all too familiar with. As Chicago Cubs fans desperately wait for further news on Shota Imanaga's injury, there is another injury that they can lower their panic levels for. In the 9th inning of the Cubs' 4-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, outfielder Kyle Tucker was spotted at second base getting his knee looked at. After Tucker stole second base, he was visited by the Cubs' training staff as they looked at his knee. Tucker appeared to be fine and stayed in for the remainder of the game.
