The Chicago Cubs are turning to a former foe as they look for answers in their bullpen. After being designated for assignment by the New York Mets, Génesis Cabrera is signing a deal with the Chicago Cubs. Cubs fans will be familiar with Cabrera as he spent the first five and a half seasons of his Major League career with the Cardinals. There remains a likelihood that the Chicago Bears will catch up with Aaron Rodgers, their former nemesis, when they play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12 of the 2025 NFL Season. Much like the miserable experience New York Jets fans had with Rodgers as their starting quarterback, Rodgers hasn't even signed with the Steelers yet, and he is proving why the circus that comes with his arrival may not be worth it.
