Ryan Poles and Ian Cunningham met with reporters on Tuesday but it was out of obligation than it was the Bears' brass openly revealing what their plan might be for the first round. In recent days, there has been plenty of smoke between the Bears and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty.

If Ryan Poles is to be believed, things are about to get wild for the 2025 NFL Draft. The Chicago Bears' general manager met with reporters on Tuesday and in doing so, expressed his prediction that there will be a flurry of activity ahead of the start of the draft on Thursday night. The Bears could be at the center of that activity. With reports that the New York Giants are looking to trade back in the draft, that has reignited speculation that the Bears could be looking to move up in the draft.

The cardiac Chicago Cubs have done it again. Faced with another game where the bullpen imploded, the Cubs' offense played savior on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Trailing the Dodgers 10-9 with in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs, Cubs' catcher Miguel Amaya launched a home run that sent the game into extra innings.
