Diss Mercury
The Diss Mercury, along with its companion publication, the Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury, began circulation in 1984. The Diss Mercury replaced the former South Norfolk News, while the Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury evolved from the Wymondham portion of the Norwich Mercury. These newspapers quickly gained recognition, with the Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury winning the title of the best free newspaper in the UK in 1988.
