KLM has said between 4,000 and 6,000 litres of fuel was spilt during the leak (Image: Supplied) Thousands of litres of fuel has been spilt at Norwich Airport after a leak from a KLM tanker. Up to 6,000 litres of waste fuel from a bowser belonging to KLM Engineering spread across and into the ground at the airport over the weekend. A large area behind hangar six where the vehicle was parked remains cordoned off due to safety and environmental concerns, with a clean-up under way.

A new barge has been launched named after Chris Prior, who was known in Norfolk as Chris 'the carrot man' (Image: Denise Bradley) He was known in Norfolk as ‘Chris the carrot man’...delivering veg to horse owners, before using the money to set up his own riverbank piling business on the Broads. In January Chris Prior passed away peacefully on his boat, The Salty Dog, in Wroxham. But his legacy on the Norfolk waterways now looks set to live on.

Norfolk Yacht Agency, which has sales sites at Brundall Bay and Ferry Marina in Horning, has purchased Great Yarmouth's St Olaves Marina on the River Waveney.
