    Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface. If using fresh fruit slices, thinly slice them and set aside. Spread peanut butter evenly on one slice of bread. Spread jelly or jam evenly on the other slice of bread. If using fresh fruit slices, place them on top of the peanut butter. Carefully place the slice with jelly/jam on top of the slice with peanut butter, aligning the edges. Press down gently to ensure the fillings are distributed evenly.
