Raymond fanned 17 LaCrescent batters in a 7-0 win in the morning. Then achieved 13 strikeouts in the afternoon against neighbors Cannon Falls in a 1-0 victory. Friday night Raymond became the 6th player to hit the 1,000 strikeout milestone in state history in a 6-2 win over #5 rated Caledonia.

Wilson struck out 11 Cobras while throwing 71 pitches. 55 strikes and did not walk a batter. Wilson was a triple away from hitting for the cycle. The Cardinals collected 17 hits in the game, 7 of them in the third inning when they jumped to a 6-0 lead.
