KEYC-TV (Mankato, MN)

KEYC-TV is a television station affiliated with CBS, FOX, and Circle, catering to viewers in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. It began broadcasting on October 5, 1960, originally as an NBC affiliate, and switched to CBS in 1961. In July 2007, KEYC expanded its offerings by adding FOX on channel 12-2. CBS programming can be watched on channel 12-1 through over-the-air broadcasts. Additionally, on October 6, 2022, KEYC introduced Circle programming on channel 12-3.

(KEYC) -In celebration of Earth Day Gustavus Adolphus College officially opened their new solar array TuesdayThe 1.1 megawatt array has been in the works since 2019, and will provide around 10-percent of the campus’ power, the equivalent to powering the campus’ two largest residential halls on its own. Gustavus previously had some solar panels helping out with power, but the new field is 25-times larger than the college’s other installations.

Seoul Foods in North Mankato is an Asian import grocery store that only opened four months ago. The store is owned by Yella Hensley and his wife Sook, and their entire business is taking imported goods to the local level, meaning it’s impossible for them to escape the tariffs.
