Wade Joseph Novak, 60, was charged with the two counts, both of them felonies, Thursday in Mower County District. He is currently in custody at the Mower County Jail.

Joseph William Hegge, 63, of Austin was charged Monday in Mower County District Court with second degree assault with a dangerous weapon and threats of violence-reckless disregard for risk.
