    WOODBURN, Ore- Nearly 45 years after a man’s body was discovered along Interstate 5 in Marion County, Oregon State Police have identified the victim as Larry Eugene Parks, a 30-year-old Vietnam veteran who had been missing since 1979. Parks’ remains were found on July 18, 1980, near Woodburn, but despite extensive investigative efforts, the man remained unidentified until April 2025, according to a statement released Friday by the Oregon State Police Cold Case Unit.
