Manawatū Standard

The Manawatū Standard, previously known as the Evening Standard, serves as the daily newspaper for the Manawatu area, with its main office located in Palmerston North and additional coverage in Feilding and Marton. This publication has gained recognition as one of New Zealand's top newspapers, being a finalist for the best regional daily newspaper at the 2008 Qantas Media Awards (now the Voyager Media Awards after 2018). In 2007, it won the award in that same category. Additionally, in 2017, it earned accolades for Best Headline and recognized a talented student journalist at the Qantas Media Awards.
