    Alessandro Pier Guidi, Antonio Giovinazzi, and James Calado have taken victory for Ferrari at the 6 Hours of Imola, the second round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship. The car won from pole but Ferrari didn’t have it all their own way, with various tyre and fuel strategies from other manufacturers challenging the Italian manufacturer all race. In second was Sheldon van der Linde, Rene Rast, and Robin Frijns in the #20 BMW, 8.5 seconds off the winning Ferrari.

    Porsche’s Matt Campbell leads at Imola just over half way in at Imola, after starting 10th. With overtaking hard to come by at Imola, good strategy is needed to move up through the field. Porsche have done just that, strategising the car into the lead of the race, despite not having the pace to challenge the superior Ferraris on track. Campbell took the lead just recently at the last round of pitstops, through minimal tyre changes and fuel saving to move up through the field.

    James Calado leads the 6 Hours of Imola for Ferrari, in the #51 car, with an hour gone, with his fellow Ferrari driver, Phil Hanson, second in the satellite #83 Ferrari 499P. Calado started on pole after his teammate in the #51 car, Antonio Giovinazzi, qualified the car fastest yesterday. He retained the lead on the first lap from Hanson and now has a three second gap over his countryman. Kevin Magnussen is third, 16 seconds back from Calado, after starting the #15 BMW M Hybrid V8 third.

    Antonio Giovinazzi took pole for the FIA World Endurance Championship in the #51 Ferrari, setting a 1:28.890 around Imola to take pole for the Italian brand on home turf. The satellite #83 AF Corse Ferrari, driven by Robert Kubica, was second fastest, but 0.758 slower than his teammate. In third was Dries Vanthoor, in the #15 BMW M Hybrid V8, almost a second off Giovinazzi.
