Orange Coast Magazine
Orange Coast is a lifestyle magazine that focuses on the Orange County area in California. It was first launched in February 1974 and became part of Emmis Publishing in July 2007. This makes it the longest-running lifestyle magazine in the region. In June 2008, the magazine underwent a redesign. Orange Coast is also affiliated with the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA).

From preschool to high school, all students and their families are welcome to participate in demonstrations, workshops, competitions, hands-on learning experiences, and more. The Centennial Farm will open its doors for visitors, and kids are welcome to participate in 4-H events along with a handful of other competitions, including chess and engineering.

Altfest has worked to popularize gluten-free baking by competing on shows such as Hulu’s “Baker’s Dozen” and Food Network’s “Halloween Cookie Challenge,” and she also recently released an e-book.
