    Preheat the oven to 375℉. Spray a 9×9-inch pan or 11×7-inch casserole dish with nonstick spray. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta in the water, according to package instructions. Drain. Cook the beef in a nonstick skillet until browned. Spoon out the fat and discard and remove the meat from the skillet. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and saute until softened (about 5 minutes). Stir in the garlic for 1 minute.

    Preheat the oven to 375℉. Line a 15x10x1-inch pan with parchment paper; generously grease the foil or paper with shortening. Then sprinkle it lightly with powdered sugar. In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the eggs on high speed for about 5 minutes, or until very thick and pale lemon-colored. Gradually beat in the granulated sugar. Beat in the water and vanilla on low speed. Gradually add the flour, baking powder and salt, beating on low speed just until smooth.

    Preheat the oven to 375℉. Spray a small saucepan with nonstick spray coating. For sauce, cook onion and garlic in the saucepan until onion is tender. In a small bowl, stir together chicken broth, orange zest, orange juice, honey and cornstarch. Stir into onion mixture in saucepan. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more, then remove from the heat. Rinse hen halves and pat dry. In a shallow roasting pan place each hen half atop one orange wedge.
