    Richmond RCMP arrested five suspects — four of whom were youth — in an alleged theft from a Richmond toy store. On May 27, Richmond RCMP responded to a report of a theft in progress at a toy store in the 6500 block of Minoru Boulevard, which appears to be at CF Richmond Centre. According to the report, eight suspects entered the store and allegedly stole multiple items. The complainant followed the suspects at a safe distance while providing updates to the E-Comm 9-1-1 call-taker.

    AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans have made it a priority this year to require people to prove citizenship before they can register to vote. Turning that aspiration into reality has proved difficult. Trump’s executive order directing a documentary, proof-of-citizenship requirement for federal elections has been blocked by a judge, while federal legislation to accomplish it doesn’t appear to have the votes to pass in the Senate.
