Oh, no! It’s Monday again!Actually, I suppose that should be taken as a relief these days, because weekends are Trump’s most chaotic and dangerous days. And obviously, this weekend was no exception, as we’ve had a little bit of a war while we were on our break. At least he had the decency to wait for a regular weekend break, rather than start a war while I was on vacation. I really would have felt odd about that. But this is not really about me, is it?

And I really need it! Sure, I was off all week and just came back yesterday. But I foolishly decided to try to learn a new editing program yesterday, to step into the shoes of my production staff, who’s now on vacation from our vacation. And it took me all day!It better not take me all day again, today. Because it’s the longest day of the year!Anyway, editing a Friday show should—in theory—be easier than editing a Thursday show.

Wow. It’s time to return to the “air” LIVE today… and I don’t know why I didn’t just give myself a little more time to adjust!Of course, I actually do know why I didn’t, and it’s because a week away from the microphone is an eternity in the Trump era, and we’ll be returning to an entirely different world.

This Wednesday feels like a Friday, but also like a Sunday. It feels like a Friday because I’m exhausted… from being on vacation!Maybe your family is like this, too. Relaxation is exhausting! But at least I won the competition for the best vacation, or whatever! It’s also like a Sunday, because it’s the last day off before reporting back to “work,” and now I have the jitters. Even though all I have to do is have a Zoom call with Greg.

A couple of days ago Trump let loose a rant on Truth Social that was exceptionally demented. It’s worth it to take a moment and examine just how loony toons this shit truly is. Yet again, Trump is floating his “stolen election” theories that the only reason he lost in 2020, and that he generally loses in California, Illinois and New York, is because of Undocumented Immigrants who are voting. It is illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal or state elections in the United States.
