BynumIn their first game against each other, former North Carolina teammates RJ Davis and Caleb Love each scored 13 points in their second and final games Sunday at the G League Elite Camp in Chicago. Love’s Team 1 took a 92–73 victory over Davis’ Team 4 in the game at the Wintrust Arena. Davis, who found the 3-point range after missing both attempts from outside the arc in his game Saturday, also dished out five assists while Love had four steals.

The Tar Heels never trailed in rolling their third victory over Clemson, this time 18–9 in the first round of the NCAA tournament on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Dorrance Field behind Marissa White’s fifth five-goal game of her career. Chloe Humphrey (top photo) set the NCAA record for goals by a freshman at 75.

By R.L. BynumRJ Davis scored 14 points Saturday in the first of his two games at G League Elite Camp in Chicago. Davis was 5 of 9 from the floor and missed both 3-point attempts with two rebounds, two assists and a turnover as his Team One beat Team Two 89–85 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Former Missouri player Tomar Bates led Team One with 19 points and two 3-pointers while former Penn State player Yanic Konan Neiderhauser paced Team Two with 17 points.

By R.L. BynumCHAPEL HILL — No. 4 North Carolina rallied from a four-run deficit to tie in the eighth inning, only for the Tar Heels’ bullpen to let them down. Against four relievers, No. 16 N.C. State scored three runs in the ninth inning to take an 8–5 win Friday at Boshamer Stadium, with the series-deciding game at 1 p.m. Sunday.
