The Ethel

The Ethel

The Ethel is dedicated to empowering older women to embrace their age, specifically targeting those aged 55 and above. Named after AARP Founder Ethel Percy Andrus, our free bi-monthly newsletter, website, and social community reflect her belief that “old age is not a defeat, but a victory, not a punishment, but a privilege.” She championed the idea of unity and aimed to shift how society views aging. Born in 1884, this visionary leader advocated for retirees and senior citizens, working tirelessly to enhance their financial stability, healthcare, and essential services.
