Jerry Giordano opened Giordano's Deli in 1973. He built the strip mall at 774 21st St. in 1975 where the Italian deli is today. The deli has been sold four times in its 52-year history. Girodano's Deli in Vero Beach opened in 1973 as Giordano's Deli, named after founder Gerard "Jerry" Giordano. It was known as Giordano's Deli until 2014, when owner Gizella Bozsik was forced to change the name because of a trademark infringement lawsuit filed against her.
