The Standard (Warrnambool)

The Standard was founded in 1872 by William Fairfax and Henry Laurie in the lively little port town of Warrnambool, which had a mere 4,350 residents at the time. Fast forward more than a hundred years, and Warrnambool has transformed into a vibrant city with a population exceeding 34,000. It now draws in many tourists annually and is home to a diverse and expanding community.
