The Twins started the season 7-13, and on April 22, the Twins went on a tear - coincidentally it started with a sweep of the White Sox and then the Angels - winning 12 in a row.

Stocking caps were abundant on the few fans at the game, and it started off as expected, a tough night at the plate. Clay Holmes saw immediate success on the rubber, striking out the side in the bottom of the first. The cold weather didn’t stop Matt Wallner though from hitting a triple in the bottom of the 4th. The ball wedged underneath the right field wall.
