SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — The wind may have picked up today across KELOLAND, but we did at least get in on a warmer day across the region as well!This will be the warmest day for a little while across a majority of the area, with the exception being in the southeastern part of KELOLAND. That’s where 70s hold tight for one more day ahead of an advancing frontal boundary. Scattered showers are possible on both sides of the river, though areas out west may have a better shot overall in that regard.

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — We have been able to get a break from the wind today, and though it was a bit breezy at times, it’s much better than anything we observed on Monday. On top of that, we were able to enjoy ample amounts of sunshine across the region compared to those gusty scattered showers and storms!We’ll stay pretty quiet as we head through the evening and into the night, but our break from the wind is going to be short-lived.

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Compared to Sunday, it is a noticeably chillier day across KELOLAND…with or without the wind. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will also continue to move southeastward through central and eastern KELOLAND as we head through the evening. A few of these storms may be strong to severe, with a “Marginal Risk” for severe weather in place for portions of eastern and southeastern KELOLAND going as far north as the Redfield area.
