She then helped lead the Bengals to the Big Sky championship and NCAA Tournament in 2012 and a WNIT bid as a senior. She is now back on campus to begin her first season as an assistant coach. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The top three finishers in the Class ‘A’ girls pole vault this weekend at the state track and field meet all share the last name Stiefel. But the bond between these vaulting sisters from Custer lifts them to new heights. Ciana, Kelsey and Tenlee were the only three competitors to clear 11 feet with senior Ciana winning her third straight championship by topping 12 feet, three inches in her final high school meet.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls City FC was scheduled to host RKC Third Coast at Bob Young Field on Sunday evening. However, the team had to switch gears when the visitors forfeited the match. After suffering an injury during last year’s state meet, he appreciated the spectacle of the state meet. “Just kind of made me think about how much hard work it is to get to this point,” Dulaney said.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Northwestern’s Ella Boekelheide swept the three distance races in Class ‘B’ at the South Dakota high school state track and field meet. She won the 800 meter in 2:19, 1600 meter at 5:09, and the 3200 meter in 11:38. All three of those times were season bests. “It doesn’t really set in until you’ve crossed that line,” Boekelheide said. “You’re pretty locked in the whole race. You can’t even really here in the crowd. You’re all in your head.
