CALICO ROCK, Ark. (KY3) - The search for an escaped convicted Arkansas killer is now on its fourth day. Grant Hardin escaped from the Arkansas Department of Corrections’ North Central Unit prison in Calico Rock in Izard County. Officials say he disguised himself as law enforcement and walked out of the prison on Sunday. Hardin pleaded guilty in October 2017 to first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of James Appleton, 59.

BARRY COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) - The Barry County Sheriff’s Office is trying to track down a missing piece of heavy machinery and the person who stole it. According to the sheriff’s office, this happened earlier this month. This 2004 yellow John Deere 27C CTS was stolen from State Highway U-U in the rural Washburn area. It has a single dump bucket, a push sled on the front, rubber tracks, and an open cab.

WRIGHT CO., Mo. (KY3) - A bridge in Wright County is out of commission, after flood waters washed out much of the ground surrounding the bridge last November, causing a section of the bridge to collapse. According to Wright County officials, the Stairstep Road Bridge was built around seven years ago. It spans the Whetstone Creek, southeast of Hartville. However, since the flooding in November last year, the bridge remains closed to this day.

According to the folks at Lilley’s Landing Resort and Marina, they expect a busy weekend. Cabins and boats are booked out, and they’re preparing for the influx.

DADE COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) - The Dade County Sheriff’s Office is trying to track down whoever stole a cash machine and an ATM from a convenience store. This happened around 6:30 a.m. on May 15 at Taylor’s Corner Store at State Highways Y and 215, just west of Bona. According to the sheriff, the suspects removed the machines from inside the store using a chain, causing significant damage to the building in the process.
