Terrified shoppers fled after a gunman began shooting in the busy Fairgreen Shopping Centre yesterday evening. The man was declared dead at the scene last night, and today gardai confirmed that the fatal wound was self-inflicted. A nine-year-old child also suffered a leg injury while trying to run away. The man, aged in his early 20s, was arrested last year as part of an investigation into the purchase of weapons on the Dark Web.
