    NEW HARTFORD — PiNZ Bowl at Sangertown Square Mall has closed after Pyramid Management Group, the organization that owns the mall, terminated PiNZ’s lease for nonpayment of rent, according to court documents. On April 16, Pyramid Management Group sent PiNZ a notice that the lease had been terminated, citing nonpayment of fixed annual rent, and then on April 23, delivered a notice that PiNZ was to vacate the premises by Sunday, May 4, documents state.

    WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-24, Canandaigua, has introduced a bill that would increase and extend the advanced manufacturing investment credit, an initiative created by the CHIPS Act. The legislation, known as the Building Advanced Semiconductors Investment Credit (BASIC) Act, increases the credit from 25% to 35% and extends the availability until Dec. 31, 2030. Reps. John Mannion, D-22, Geddes, and Elise Stefanik, R-21, Schuylerville, are among the cosponsors of the bill.
