Lynn Keller followed in her sisters’ footsteps, from a farm kid picking rocks and eggs, to a nurse, mending wounds and caring for the many residents at Elm Crest Manor in New Salem. “The residents, you get really attached to, so it’s a good place, a really good place,” said Lynn.

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — “What’s up,” asked a Simle Middle School student. “What’s up,” Josh Brown, school resource officer/Bismarck Police Department, responded. Josh Brown didn’t always know he wanted to be a cop. “I had a friend of mine who worked at the Police Youth Bureau that I’ve known forever,” Brown recalled. “And she’s like, ‘why don’t you go on a ride along?'”So, Brown, who was previously a salesman, decided to hop in the squad car and go for a ride.

You know, he saved their lives, but the horse has saved his life.”Specifically, the Nokota horse. Frank Kuntz‘s life has revolved around the rare breed for more than 40 years. But even as a child, horses were always a significant part of his life.

But to Don, scroll sawing is anything but work. It’s one of his favorite hobbies, manyhobbies. “I started out and thought there was no way you can do this because your eyes,” Don said. “But I’ve been blessed with good eyes and steady hands.”Don has always enjoyed woodworking.
