BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — “We played doctor and nurses as kids years ago, so that kind of where it fell into place,” said Lynn Keller, LPN, Elm Crest Manor. Lynn Keller followed in her sisters’ footsteps, from a farm kid picking rocks and eggs, to a nurse, mending wounds and caring for the many residents at Elm Crest Manor in New Salem. “The residents, you get really attached to, so it’s a good place, a really good place,” said Lynn.

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — “What’s up,” asked a Simle Middle School student. “What’s up,” Josh Brown, school resource officer/Bismarck Police Department, responded. Josh Brown didn’t always know he wanted to be a cop. “I had a friend of mine who worked at the Police Youth Bureau that I’ve known forever,” Brown recalled. “And she’s like, ‘why don’t you go on a ride along?'”So, Brown, who was previously a salesman, decided to hop in the squad car and go for a ride.

Baker graduated from Hazelton in 1997, took a few years off, and then entered the National Guard. Then in 1984, he made his way to what was then known as Bismarck Junior College where he played baseball and pursued his interest in journalism.
