BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Marvin Baker grew up in Hazelton North Dakota“There wasn’t a lot to do there, but in the summertime, I played baseball,” Marvin Baker, Army Veteran, commercial gardener, journalist said. Baker graduated from Hazelton in 1997, took a few years off, and then entered the National Guard. Then in 1984, he made his way to what was then known as Bismarck Junior College where he played baseball and pursued his interest in journalism.
