MADISON, Wis. --- A total of seven Wisconsin Football players from the team's 2024 roster are closer to their NFL dreams. Jack Nelson, an offensive tackle, was a 7th round draft pick, the 218th overall selection, taken by the Atlanta Falcons. Hunter Wohler, a safety, was a 7th round draft pick, the 232nd overall pick, was selected by the Indianapolis Falcons. Joe Huber, an offensive lineman, signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent.

GREEN BAY, Wis. --- A pair of former Wisconsin Badger football players were selected in the NFL Draft. Chimere Dike, a Waukesha native who played four seasons at Wisconsin, was selected out of Florida by the Tennessee Titans. The wide receiver was taken with the first pick of the fourth round. Graham Mertz, who also spent four seasons with the Badgers, was selected 197th overall, in the sixth round. The quarterback spent his final two years of his college career at Florida.
