NEW YORK (PIX11) — Things continue to heat up across the Tri-State Region. Along with the warm temperatures, poor air quality will be an issue once again on Thursday. High levels of ozone are expected, causing the State Department of Environmental Conservation to reissue an Air Quality Alert for the city. Those with respiratory issues should limit their time outdoors, especially during the latter part of the day. Skies will be generally clear for Wednesday night.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — While Thursday was a damp start, much of the day was spent under overcast skies and temperatures in the 60s. Late in the day, the sun was able to break through the clouds, bringing the possibility of viewing Manhattanhenge before sunset. Thursday night looks to feature partly to mostly cloudy skies. There will be a chance to view Manhattanhenge at around 8:12 p.m. Later in the evening, clouds will return, and some patchy fog may develop overnight.
