This afternoon will be mostly sunny, with highs in the lower 90s, feeling like the lower triple digits. The sea breeze will move inland this afternoon, with isolated thunderstorms developing during the late afternoon and early evening.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Roads are dry this morning with temperatures in the 70s. We’ll warm to the 80s by lunchtime with highs in the lower 90s. Heat index values will once again reach the lower triple digits during our afternoon hours. There is a marginal risk for severe weather along and north of I-16, but any of these storms could produce heavy rain and lightning this afternoon into the evening.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - We’ll warm into the 80s by lunchtime with highs in the lower 90s. Heat index values will top out in the lower triple digits, but the southerly breeze will provide some relief. Isolated showers and a storm or two will develop this afternoon along the sea breeze. These isolated downpours could linger into the early evening. This pattern will continue through the end of the week with morning lows in the low to mid 70s followed by highs in the lower 90s.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - We’ll begin the work week with temperatures in the 70s and some damp roads from Sunday evening’s rain. We’ll warm to the upper 80s by lunchtime with highs in the lower 90s. Heat index values will also be in the lower triple digits, don’t forget to hydrate! The wind will be from the southwest throughout the day at about 5-10 miles per hour. Isolated showers and storms will be possible during the afternoon, but the coverage should be a bit less than Sunday.
