GOLDSTON, N.C. (WNCN) — It’s been 20 years since Jordan Anders has seen or talked to his Uncle Rick and Aunt Karen. “They were the most kind people who kept to themselves, mind their business. They weren’t violent people. They didn’t bother anybody,” said Jordan Anders, the nephew of Rick Brown. Karen loved animals and Rick loved the quiet life. They mostly kept to themselves. It is why they moved to Chatham County, living in their home on Little Indian Creek Road.
