More than a decade after a Madison woman was fatally shot in front of her children, investigators are still seeking answers in the case. Julia Majette, 25, was at her home along the 700 block of North Thompson Drive when two men forced their way inside on June 12, 2013, according to a statement from police spokesperson Stephanie Fryer. The pair, who Majette did not know, shot and killed Majette with her children present. Despite the lack of arrests, the investigation remains active, Fryer said.
