HUMBOLDT PARK — The Humboldt Park lagoon’s swan boats are gone — and there are no plans for them to paddle back. Wheel Fun Rentals, a California-based company that had offered swan boat rentals and multi-passenger bikes at the lagoon in partnership with the Park District, recently closed its Humboldt Park outpost ahead of its usual spring opening. The company had operated out of the lagoon boathouse, 1301 N. Humboldt Park Drive, since 2018.
