The homeless shelter will soon open an intake center in downtown Tucson, offering transportation to their central campus for access to a complete array of services. “We wanted to meet them where they’re at and go out where they are instead of assuming or waiting for them to come here to get help,” Gospel Rescue Mission Chief Executive Officer Lisa Chastain said.

    TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Friends and family are still looking for answers after 35-year-old Hoi Kei Woo, also known as Patricia, disappeared nearly a month ago. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says Patricia Woo was last seen on April 18 and was reported missing the following day. Her vehicle was discovered at Windy Point on Mt. Lemmon on April 20, but Patricia was nowhere to be found.

    TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A beloved Vail music teacher was discharged from a rehabilitation facility on Friday. His release comes months after he suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash caused by an alleged drunk driver. After three months in the hospital and 2 1/2 months in rehab, Rincon Vista Middle band and orchestra teacher Jared Hughes said he is elated to be headed home. “The support from my family and my friends and the greater Vail community has really made it possible,” Hughes said.

(13 News) - The family of Jacob Couch, the victim of a brutal hatchet attack in Tucson earlier this month, is making plans to bring him back home to Alabama where he will be laid to rest. The 32-year-old passed away Thursday, April 17, after being attacked at a streetcar stop in downtown Tucson. The suspect in the case is now facing a murder charge. Luke Couch, Jacob’s younger brother, spoke with 13 News the day after his tragic passing.
