MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - U.S. Marshals say they are searching for a violent fugitive who is believed to be armed and dangerous. According to Marshals, Joseph Maloney is wanted by the Medina County Sheriff’s Office for bond violations on charges of armed robbery and burglary. Marshals describe the 23-year-old man as 5-foot-10 and about 150 pounds. He is known to frequent the area of Medina and Summit counties. According to Marshals, there is a reward available in connection to his capture.

Here’s who the Marshals say they arrested during the last week. Jaylin Tyler, 20, who was wanted by Toledo police for the aggravated murder of Derrick Rogers, 18. Anthony Ortiz, 28, who was wanted by Cleveland police for an aggravated murder in September 2024.

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - New video shows a worker at an Akron strip club tackle a suspect as he’s breaking into cars in the parking lot. Akron police say it happened back in January at the Peppermint Hippo on East Waterloo Road. In the video, the suspect brazenly goes from car to car checking for unlocked doors — all while the victims are working inside. Among the items stolen were a woman’s bag and a man’s rifle. The video shows the suspect start rummaging through a car after its doors open.

BRECKSVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - Brecksville police say a man was fatally hurt Thursday in a landscaping accident. Officers say they were called out around 10:45 a.m. for a man injured while landscaping. Police say a bystander preformed CPR until first responders arrived and took over. Sadly, the man died after he was taken to MetroHealth Brecksville.
