A new plan for the Chestoa Bridge reconstruction project looks to include an improved walkway, while the United States Forest Service hopes to add a lookout area. ELIZABETHTON — A ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new trail will take place Saturday. The Tweetsie Storybook Trail, which can be found on the Tweetsie Trail itself, encompasses a 400-foot stretch of the Tweetsie near the 4.2-mile marker. It features “The Courage of the Little Hummingbird: A Tale Told Around the World” by Leah Henderson, displayed across multiple kiosks. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday behind Lions Filed at 2459 West Elk Avenue in Elizabethton.
