WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Bishop Carroll girls soccer became the first Wichita-area team to win a 6A or 5A title with Saturday’s 2-1 win over St. James at Stryker Sports Complex. It’s the Golden Eagles’ first 5A title in program history. Leah Henke opened the scoring 15 minutes in with a header on a free kick from Andrea Vielmas. St. James answered back with a corner kick goal 10 minutes later, sending the game into a 1-1 tie at the break.

WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - The 2025 boys tennis season came to a conclusion with state championships on Saturday. Wichita Collegiate cleaned up the hardware in 3-1A state. The Trojans ran away with the team title while Chralie Gentile beat teammate Amir Chicha for the singles championship. Carter Drumright and Maddox Drumright won the doubles crown. Maize South’s Evan Goates took home the 5A singles title in Salina, defeating Ark City’s Dawson O’Donnell in straight sets.

I played tackle football growing up, I did wrestling. But really, softball was my number one.”Teasley showed it on the diamond as well, garnering accolades on accolades after stellar play with the Pratt Greenbacks. “She’s been an all-league, all-state player in the past,” Pratt softball coach Mike Forshee said.
