BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Six people were announced as 2025 recipients of the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s ‘Making a Difference’ award Wednesday. All individuals were nominated and selected for their impact as exemplary role models in the schools and communities. One person from each of the state’s seven AHSAA classifications were selected from 75 nominations submitted by member schools and other organizations or individuals.
