AUBURN, Ala. (WBRC) - A major diving event is on the Plains in Auburn this week. The James E. Martin Aquatic Center on Auburn’s campus is hosting the USA Diving Summer Nationals with divers from all across the country competeing in the event. Auburn Athletics says 150 of the nation’s best divers are expected to compete at the championships with an additional 80 coaches and staff in attendance.

MONTEVALLO, Ala. (WBRC) - The University of Montevallo announced Thursday that they are moving their spring commencement activities indoors due to this weekend’s inclement weather forecast. Officials say commencement rehearsal, set for Friday, May 2, will also take place inside the Student Activity Center (SAC) at Central State Bank Arena, which is where the ceremony will be taking place Saturday, May 3.
