FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) —Fort Wayne police arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with a shooting 8 days after investigators say he pulled the trigger. Officers responded to a call of a shooting just before 1:30 p.m. April 1st and found an adult female who had been shot. Police say she was lying in a parking lot. She was treated at the scene before she was rushed to the hospital. Police say she had life-threatening injuries.

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) — As national health organizations monitor an ongoing measles outbreak impacting several states, the Allen County Department of health is reporting a local measles case. According to the health department, the case involves a minor who was not vaccinated. It did not provide an age or any other information about the minor patient. The patient is reported to be stable and recovering.

New Haven, Ind. (WFFT) - More than 330 people showed up to an event Tuesday to show their support for the proposed casino. They heard from local elected leaders and community members who voiced their approval. Mayor Steve Mc Michael was among the supporters who spoke at Tuesday's event hosted by Full House Resorts. The company has plans to build a gaming facility that will feature a conference center, hotel and restaurants.

Kosciusko County (WFFT)- Indiana State Police say a two-vehicle crash sent 9 people to the hospital and 7 of them were all crammed inside one of those vehicles. ISP says the crash happened when the driver of a pickup truck crossed the path of a box truck, requiring two people to be flown to a hospital. The remaining 7 victims were also transported to the hospital. It happened at about 5:40 near the intersection of US 30 and N CR350 West in Kosciusko County.
